This bloodwood copes with all but the very driest habitats. This one had taken root in a semi-permanent waterhole next to the sheer rock face of Kantju Gorge in the Uluru / Kata Tjuta National Park, a site held sacred by the Arrent Aboriginal people of Central Australia.
